A few days ago I was doing some urban sketching in Oxford city centre, drawing the KFC at Cornmarket

So, continuing on a theme, yesterday I was back drawing more fast food places – this time the Kebab Kid & Tops Pizza out on the Cowley Road. This is a part of town out from the centre which is perhaps a little rough around the edges but definitely has some character. The people are also generally quite friendly.

Here is my view, with my back to a closed Costa coffee place. As I was drawing it came around to 5pm – and a line of delivery scooters pulled up outside these establishments. i took that as an opportunity to draw a few of them before they zapped off again…

As you can tell from my cropped image above , I later decided to add some watercolour – and although not quite finished here is the result so far.
