A few weeks ago I went back to Bath Road in Abingdon to do some more sketching. I’d previously drawn a row of fast food places along this row and went back to finish off this view. Why do I like this road ? Well maybe because it is a Hodge-potch of signs and slightly warped architecture. It also helps that this road is blocked at one end so there is no through traffic and therefore it is more pleasant place to sit and sketch.
Anyway, here is my view of the end of Bath Road with my new sketch in-situ.
Later I decided to add this end of Bath Road to my previous drawings. Here is the result, below…
… and after adding some watercolour.
