Another study of some of the small fishing boats hauled up on the slipway at Sennen Cove in Cornwall. The round building in the background was formerly a winch-house, which was probably originally powered by horses. It is now a rather charming gallery.

One of my watercolours of one of Stratford characterful pubs – this a view on the front of the Garrick Inn. Signs on the front of the pub declare that it is a 14th century building and has served real ale since 1594.

The church of St. Thomas the Martyr, Oxford

The church of St. Thomas the Martyr was originally founded in the 12th century and was much modified in the 19th and 20th centuries. Now gradually decaying and perhaps mostly overlooked, the church is tucked away near the Oxford Railway Station and behind the old Jam Factory.

Church Hanborough – in evening light
