Today finishing a watercolour version of a sketch I did a few days ago. This a view from the approach to the small town of Charlbury, which is on the eastern fringes of the Cotswolds. For comparison here is a view of my original sketch of Charlbury in-situ.

Here is another of my Oxford townscapes. Taking a walk around the town – on a cold and bright day – and struck by the view of this guitarist casting shadows against the light. So trying a slightly different technique, here’s my take on that view.
