Here’s yet another view of Polperro Harbour in south-east Cornwall. This is a fairly simplified watercolour sketch – but also trying this in a Seawhite pad which seems to hold the colour pretty well.
This is a study of one of the buildings of the Old Marina Railway Station in Alicante, Spain. I spent about an hour drawing this early on a workaday morning – enlivened by fireworks and music from a local festival of the Virgen del Socorro.
Here is a sketch I made on holiday – the afternoon siesta a good time to do some sketching if you can find some shade – sketching is better than sleep! This is a view of apartments between the castle and the beach in Alicante, Spain.
