Another view of the Hertford College ‘Bridge of Sighs’ in Oxford. A bit of fun really – and trying to work a few things out.

Apparently the Oxford Bridge of Sighs differs from its more famous cousin in Venice in that the original was for criminals perhaps making a final crossing, whereas the Oxford version was more for the protection of students and college staff in more troubled times.
