A watercolour sketch of Arlington Row, Bibury

Bibury is one of the classic Cotswolds villages and Arlington Row with its water meadow and clear water stream is definitely worth a visit.

This is another of my watercolour studies of this row of picturesque cottages in the village and is one of several attempts at getting a decent painting of this view – and probably not the last.

This is just a study of the cottages here and the surroundings have been left blank -but to me there is a suggestion that this might be a scene worth re-visiting when it snows.
