This a painting of one of the boats – the  ‘Sharon Tracy’ – in Porthleven harbour, Cornwall. The cabin of this boat makes it appealing, with its larger glass windows – perhaps not so good for rough seas but better for a gentle days puttering?

Also here a photograph of the Sharon Tracey on an altogether wetter and more windy day – not so good for artwork, or even photography but pretty atmospheric in its own way.

Taking photos from the harbour wall, my cap flew off and into the harbour – luckily retrieved with some careful footwork!
