A view towards St Mary’s Church, Marlborough

This is another of my townscapes – its another watercolour, a view along Kingsbury Street with the tower of St Mary’s Church in the background.

This is from a quick visit a few weeks ago – on a beautiful spring day. I guess I am more used to just stopping off – usually on the way to Avebury – and trying to park on the usually very busy High Street. However just a short walk around revealed a wealth of period architecture and you start to get a bit of a feel for some of the history – somewhere to visit again!
