Here’s one of my more picturesque landscapes – a view of Arlington Row in the Cotswold village of Bibury. This is a slightly fore-shortened view from the footbridge over the river.

The combination of a clear water river, abundant water meadows and the row of old stone cottages is a favourite with tourists visiting Arlington Row, in this picturesque village.
