Inspired somewhat by Ian Siddaway – visiting Sennen Cove near land’s End in Cornwall on a recent holiday. This is somewhere that we’d usually pass by- parking up and maybe doing the walk over to Land’s End. Looking down at Sennen usually reveals a busy looking place and a car park to rival those in St. Ives – i.e. a queue of vehicles waiting for a space, However I guess we got lucky – quiet enough to park and the place a pleasant surprise.
There is a hi-tech lifeboat station – a fine institution and just by the car park an old windlas station – for hauling the boats up the beach – now a charming art gallery.
