Boats at Cadgwith Cove, Cornwall

Cadgwith Cove is at the south of the Lizard penninsula in Cornwall. This picturesque fishing village is not neccessarily easy to reach via the surrounding narrow and twisting roads. It is probably also best to park at the edge of town and walk in.

The Cove has a small fleet of fishing boats which are regularly dragged up on to the pebble beach, a nice pub, a small fish market and a few tourist shops. A lovely place to visit on a sunny day, but probably at its best on a summers evening when locals and tourists alike can take their drinks and sit out on the harbour to shoot the breeze…
