A sketch of the church at Brightwell Baldwin

Revisiting one of my sketchbooks today and having another go at a sketch of the St Bartholomew’s church at Brightwell Baldwin in SE Oxfordshire.

Parts of the church date back to the 14th c. and it is a Grade 1 listed building. Now mostly alone out in the country except for a few houses – although it has the rather excellent Lord Nelson pub opposite – both are well worth a visit.

Taking advantage of the sunshine today and sitting outside to do this sketch – a picture below of the finished sketch.
