Lately I’ve been trying to work up a series of drawings of Broad Street in Oxford. Before the Lockdown I had done a series of sketches back in the cold of January and February and hope to turn these into panoramic views of this area in the not-too-distant future.
Here is my latest – a more sketchy drawing of the Sheldonian. This seems to be a style people seem to prefer over a more technical drawing, even if the drawing shows the buildings as more distorted and even warped – and I guess that might be described as ‘character’.
