Fulbrook is a village in West Oxfordshire, a few miles NE of Burford. The village is mentioned in the Doomsday book and has a small Norman church tucked away just off the main road. The church is therefore easy to miss, especially if like most people you are travelling on the relatively straight road to or from Chipping Norton. However if you like Norman churches it is well worth a visit.

With the lockdown easing slightly I thought I might travel out and do a drawing of the church on a sunny Solstice evening, resulting in the drawing below.

Time to head back, tidy up the drawing and maybe to try it as the base for a watercolour – if I do manage that I’ll post it later.
