A few days ago I put up a sketch of Polperro inner harbour in Cornwall and seem to have been doing more sketches of boats and harbours than anything else recently – perhaps it is the influence of those new boaty curtains we brought a while back…

Anyway here is my attempt at a view of Illfracombe harbour on the north Devon coast. My memory of Illfracombe reminds me of ice-creams, cafe’s, campsites and some extremely rocky coastline..
