Sketching St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s at Church Hanborough, Oxfordshire.

Today I took advantage of some late September sunshine and ventured out to the nearby village of Church Hanborough.

Despite the occasional passing shower I settled down to do a couple of drawings. This one is a view of the church and with the passing rain my drawing became a little smudgy. This is my second and more detailed attempt at drawing the church – although in this case its still incomplete and more of a study, possibly for re-use in a more full-blown painting later on.

I also drew a couple of nearby cottages – and will put these up as a separate post tomorrow.
