I thought I’d put up something a little different today – a bit of urban sketching from around Oxford. This is a view of what may be taken as unprepossessing shops on Between Towns Road at Temple Cowley, Oxford. A couple of the aspects that I like from this view that I like are the sail-like shopping centre advertising sign to the left and panelling and billboards stuck about the place.

For me this drawing is a success in that it produces ideas and prompts me to go and do some more!
