St. Mary’s church, Adderbury

Here is one of my slightly older watercolours – it is of St Mary’s Church in Adderbury. This is an imposing church, one of the largest in northern Oxfordshire and features an ornate Lady Chapel built in the perpendicular style. Like a lot of country churches it is a little off the main roads but well worth visiting, with the historic core of the village still pretty much intact.
