Over the past few days I’ve been doing some sketching around around the north of the city centre, mostly around what could loosely be called ‘the student quarter’ – otherwise known as little Clarendon Street. In amongst the bars and eateries there are some interesting shops – and one of these is ‘The Last Bookshop’ on near-by Walton Street.

This particular drawing is a little rough and ready – and probably could be cleaned up a little , as seen from this close-up view.

Still, with a bit of work it might clean up and be the basis of a reasonable watercolour?
