A couple of days ago I ventured back into Oxford. This time not venturing very far-far enough to do another sketch of the Randolph Hotel
With most students away at the moment Oxford is relatively quiet. There are a few tourists around but not that many and I was mostly ignored as I sketched from outside the entrance of The Ashmolean Museum – just part of the furniture?
Here is my view of The Randolph from across the road. I couldn’t really resist adding some of the museum’s visitors…
Maybe one of these days I’ll put all these sketches together – and actually produce a finished painting?
