Another study of some of the small fishing boats hauled up on the slipway at Sennen Cove in Cornwall. The round building in the background was formerly a winch-house, which was probably originally powered by horses. It is now a rather charming gallery.
This small boat – The ‘Magic Dragon’ – is a converted working boat and a favourite of mine on the River. It is seen here at Clifton Hampden on the Thames, south of Oxford. My sketch for the day.
