This was a study done whilst working up ideas for my watercolour painting seen elsewhere on this blog as ‘Oxford Morning’

This is the view looking south from the corner of Broad Street and Catte Street in the center of Oxford and is just around the corner from the Hertford College ‘Bridge of Sighs’.

Incidentally Catte Street was also known by a few other names over the years, including ‘Mouse-catchers lane’.
