Northleach in Gloucestershire is an old market town perhaps best know for its impressive ‘Wool’ church. The town has many fine stone buildings but for me the half-timbered Tudor House in an area known as ‘The Green’ is a star attraction.
This building is presently occupied by a family Butchers at one end and a small portrait gallery at the other and seems to have been sympathetically restored.
I’ve visited the green before and have previous drawing and watercolour sketch of the building as ‘Half timbered shop in Northleach’.

On a previous visit a biker left his an old BSA motorcycle parked up outside – which only added to the period charm.

Anyway I hope you like my latest watercolour of this fine old building.
