On the summer solstice I took a trip out to draw the Norman church at Fulbrook, in West Oxfordshire.

Above is my attempt at a watercolour of the same scene. Also below are another view of the south of the church and my original drawing for comparison. One feature I really like is those windows built into the walls and stepped one above the other, showing the modification and evolution of the building.
