I took advantage of a gap in the weather yesterday to make a trip out to Watlington out on the southern fringes of Oxfordshire.
This was partly to try and visit their library but also to revisit the town and take some photos of the High Street – here with the intriguing name ‘Couching Street’.
Watlington is a pretty place – well it is if you are into vernacular architecture.
Today I took the opportunity to attempt a drawing and watercolour of the fine brick town hall.
