An alley in Evesham

Here is something of a departure for me. This is a painting from last year and it’s a view of an old alley leading to the church precinct in Evesham.

This is part of the historic core of the town, in an area with many half-timbered buildings. The alley leads from an area of pubs, old coaching Inns and the occasional teashop to the old church precinct. An old teashop right next to this view did (and hopefully still does) large slices of apple pie – a good thing to find on a day out exploring!
