After sketching and drawing out in the countryside of Blenheim, I thought I’ve venture into the city of Oxford to do some more studies around the Royal Observatory Quarter (ROQ). I’ve been trying to do a decent drawing of the Radcliffe Observatory with the aim of maybe producing a watercolour later.

One thing I can tell you is that this is not a particularly easy building to draw… however, here is my finished sketch (above) and a rather oblique view of the Observatory from outside the Mathematics Institute.
