In a recent post I’ve been attempting to draw the Radcliffe Observatory in the Royal Observatory Quarter (ROQ) of Oxford.
This area also has quite a selection of modern buildings, including the Blavatnik, the Mathematics Institute Buildings and others.
Just across the road is another new building – the Oxford Sciences Innovation Building at No. 46 Woodstock Road. On a windy day I decided to settle down by the entrance to ROQ and draw this confection of shiny glass and shuttering. Above is my resultant sketch in-situ.
