This weekend with the weather improving I took a ride out down country lanes to Rousham House in North Oxfordshire. I wasn’t specifically going to visit to house and gardens themselves but to visit the adjacent (12th C) church with its clipped Yew trees. I also found a different view of the house and stables next to fields full with the distinctive Long Horn cattle raised here.
With a stone wall to rest against, I set about drawing the view (below).
