After a brief holiday to Wales last week, I’ve been looking at photos and working up some artwork ideas. The above is the result of the quick sketch below and some simple watercolours.

On this visit I had about half an hour of wandering between the moored boats in the harbour – taking about a hundred photos in rapid succession before the tide swept in.
It would be nice to be able to have the time to sit and draw, but maybe I should find a pair of suitable wellies before then. As it was it was still pretty pleasant to sit at the harbour cafe and spend another half hour watching the harbour fill up.
