This is one of my watercolours of the view along the walk past St. John’s College on the way into Oxford. It is a view against the light so hopefully shows a little of this through the trees here.

One of Oxford’s famous landmarks – the Hertford College ‘Bridge of Sighs’. This differs from the original ‘Bridge of Sighs’ is in Venice in that it was built to provide safe passage for students and staff of the college during rowdier times – now a favourite spot for the odd photograph.
