I’ve been working on a series of fairly complicated buildings drawings but occasionally I might try something different. In this case that is a quick sketch and watercolour from a photograph. My subject is an WW2 air-sea rescue biplane – the Supermarine Walrus- which is housed in the RAF Museum at Hendon, north London. This is an aircraft I’ve painted before though from a different angle and more controlled style, in my post ‘Line and wash of a Supermarine Walrus‘
