Out exploring the south Oxfordshire countryside and visiting the village of Blewbury. Finding some shade now that the Sun has finally come out and taking the time to do a line study of one of the many half timbered cottages in the village. Here is my finished watercolour sketch of this rather lovely cottage.
Out and about in the Cotswolds – and stopping to sketch this traditional Butchers shop in Northleach. Part of what I like is the way the timber framing has had time to twist and contort over time.
